Sam is the Director and Founder of SMT Electrical Contracting. With over 20 years experience living and working as an electrician all over Australia Including Queensland, Western Australia, and Tasmania. Sam has gathered skills and experience in a wide variety of electrical fields. From heavy industrial construction, manufacturing and process control, mining, commercial construction projects and fitouts, as well as domestic construction, maintenance and fault finding. Sam holds several post trade qualifications including an Advanced Diploma in Electrical and Instrumentation, Cert IV in Instrumentation, as well as a Bachelor Degree in Applied Science from the University of QLD. Interestingly enough, Sam started his working career not as an electrician, but studying at University and becoming a Park Ranger with Marine Parks QLD.  

Jennica is currently studying her electrical trade as an apprentice with SMT Electrical Contracting. Before her electrical studies, Jennica worked as an award winning qualified Chef, specialising in fine dining and running a personal cake business as a cake designer/artist. She also has the qualification of Cert III in business administration. Jennica's great work ethic, problem solving skills, and attention to detail are an asset to the company, and she is quickly developing to become a first tier tradesperson.
